Everything you need to know about the B.T.S EP drop, how access works, and how to keep your downloads safe.
B.T.S is a statement against the devaluation of music. We're not offering infinite streams for fractions of a cent—we're selling limited ownership. Your purchase is a direct act of patronage. No algorithms, no ads, no middlemen.
Important: Once you have the files, they're yours to keep and back up. The 7-day window is for you to decide when and where to download them.
The amount of purchases are limited, so we cannot offer unlimited downloads per purchase. We use free-tier cloud storage to keep costs low, and a 3-download maximum per purchase keeps it sustainable.
Tip: Download immediately and back up your files to an external drive and cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox). Once you have the files, you own them forever.
After your 3 downloads are used, you cannot download again. However, you can:
It is not recommended, as it goes against the direct artist support that this method aims to achieve. Your link contains all of your purchase credentials, and if a friend uses one of your downloads you will not be able to use it afterwards.
From the moment you complete your payment, you have 7 days to stream the EP and use your 2 downloads. On day 8, the streaming player locks and you can no longer generate new download links. This does not affect files you have already downloaded.
You are responsible for downloading and backing up your files during your 7-day window. We strongly recommend doing this immediately and backing up to multiple locations (external drive, cloud storage). After 7 days, we cannot generate new download links—you would need to complete a new purchase.
Our download links are cryptographically signed to prevent mass piracy. They expire after 1 hour to stop them from being shared publicly. This protects the value of your purchase and the EP.
Yes. Use the recovery link in your purchase email. Opening it on your laptop will transfer your access to that browser. Both devices then share the same 7-day window and 2 downloads. Downloads can happen from any device you choose—just remember you are still limited to 2 in total.
The payment processor (Stripe) handles the transaction—we never see your card details. Check your email for the purchase confirmation. If something fails, contact us and we will resolve it.
Links expire after 1 hour. If the download was not completed within that timeframe, return to the website (with your download still in local storage) and click Download again to generate a new link. You can do this as many times as needed within your 7-day window, as long as you have downloads remaining.
